everything was so easy from booking to checking out . the room was very very clean room was serviced , cleaned , fresh towels each day breakfast serviced in dining area . coffee machine with all types of coffees, hot choc, teas, cereals , fresh bread rolls , cheeses, cold cuts, juices , many fresh different types of pastries . they have a working lift for those that don’t want to take the stairs . we stayed in room 203 . the room was decent the bathroom was huge , shower, spa bath , toilet and biedet. and plenty of very hot water . the front desk is manned 24 hours per day , we checked in at 1am and checked out at 2am with no issues at all . a special mention to Marco at the front desk , he’s very very helpful and funny. always happy for a chat and to help you with all your queries and tips for your Rome trip . remember when u get to Rome you can get the cab to the hotel , it’s about 30 min drive and 50 euros. or you can get the train from the airport to the terminale train station which is 3-4 min walk to the hotel . the hotel was fantastic location is great , short walk to colosseum, around the corner from Santa Maria church and other attractions. where comfy shoes . my advice get the metro from the terminal station (metro) to the Vatican it’s 3 euros return (6 stops away). you have a fridge in your room with completely waters too. take a map from the front foyer , chat with Marco and map out your trip . best Italian food is served up the road . when you walk out the hotel turn left. walk up and cross the first road, keep going straight (same side of the ride) for about 50 meters it’s call cicino. something like that has tables inside and out always busy, but so worth the wait.

This was our third trip to Roma and we've always stayed closer to the Termini Centrale. Hotel Serena was a 5-8 minutes walk from Termini Centrale...This was great because we had kids and luggage. Marco was at the desk and immediately made us laugh by joking about us not having a reservation. Location was splendid because there are several restaurants across the street from the hotel and a DHL shipping location about five minutes from the hotel. There is also a laundry facility next-door to the hotel (not affiliated with the hotel but very convenient we packed somewhat light and was traveling through Italy for a month). Breakfast was good as there was several tasty pastries, meats, cheese, and fresh fruits and brewed coffee, cappuccino, espresso. The staff was very nice and accommodating. Marco was especially wonderful because the day before we left Roma we wanted to ship some things home and all of the shipping places near the hotel were closed. Marco willingly called one that was farther away as our Italian is not great. Then called us a cab and stood outside with us to make sure the cab driver knew exactly where we needed to go and we were pressed for time. My family and I will definitely stay at hotel serena again. Note: any area around a train station is usually a little sketchy regardless of where you go, this is the reason I did not give the full review on "safety around the property." Also, Marco gave us a map and showed us areas to avoid and where the shopping and site seeing are. Super helpful.

Location was excellent- 2 blocks from Roma Termini. The breakfast was good even though there were no hot items except for the cappuccino that Jaccaro and the hostess behind the bar maid for us daily. The room was comfy though the table was oddly placed and the small fridge was running hot. We were able to get laundry done right next door as we were there for a week and 10 more days of travelling to go. But what makes this place great are the people working there who were all cordial, eager to help and were always nice especially Marco at the front desk and the breakfast crew -Jaccaro and the lady who made our cappuccino every morning and the lady that cleaned our room. I highly recommend this place.

We just loved this place! It was super close to the bus stop that takes you to the airport and to a lot of good restaurants and bars. The staff was so welcoming and helpful. The room was so beautiful and clean, bathroom as well. Air conditioning with thermostat, fridge in the room, all sizes of super white towels. Nothing was leaking or malfunctioning. Nice breakfast in a cute space. And they also had a room where we left our luggage after checking out because we had a late flight. Just a wonderful experience!

It is a 3 min walk from Termini in a lively and welcoming area. At midnight I did not feel scared at all. I loved the 50ish decoration- gold wallpaper, dark wood, gilded frames and lots of silky textiles. The shower was modern and had a really good pressure. Window view to an airshaft, background noise - seagull and humming AC. Windows pretty soundroof. The single room and single bed are for people of average size. Breakfast generous. Wifi fast. All night reception. Excellent staff.
